6    Employment Bill [HL] Lord Jones of Birmingham moved that the bill be now read a second time. After debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Grand Committee.

7    Pakistan and Kenya Lord Malloch-Brown repeated a ministerial statement made in the House Commons.

8    Apprenticeships (EAC Report) Lord Wakeham moved that this House takes note of the Report of the Economic Affairs Committee on Apprenticeship: a key route to skill (5th Report, Session 2006-07, HL Paper 138). After debate, the motion was agreed to.
