1 European Union: single market (EUC Report) Lord Freeman moved that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on The Single Market: Wallflower or Dancing Partner? Inquiry into the European Commissions Review of the Single Market (5th Report, HL Paper 36). After debate, the motion was agreed to.
2 House of Lords (Members Taxation Status) Bill [HL] Baroness Royall of Blaisdon signified the Queens consent. Lord Oakeshott of Seagrove Bay moved that the bill be now read a second time. After debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole House.
The House adjourned at 1.00pm until Monday 17 March at 2.30pm.
