Public Business 1 Economy: monetary and fiscal policy A question was asked by Lord Higgins and answered by Lord Davies of Oldham. 2 Internet: privacy A question was asked by Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer and answered by Lord West of Spithead. 3 Criminal Records Bureau A question was asked by Lord Marlesford and answered by Lord West of Spithead. 4 Crime: knives A question was asked by Lord Maginnis of Drumglass and answered by Lord West of Spithead. 5 Criminal Evidence (Witness Anonymity) Bill The bill was returned from the Commons with the amendments agreed to. 6 Powers of Entry etc. Bill [HL] The bill was read a third time and passed. The bill was sent to the Commons. 7 Housing and Regeneration Bill Baroness Royall of Blaisdon signified the Queens and Prince of Waless consents. The bill was read a third time. Amendments were agreed to. Then the bill was passed and returned to the Commons with amendments. 8 Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2008 Lord West of Spithead moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 2 July be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to. 9 Pensions Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 130EW. Amendments were agreed to. Amendment 134 was disagreed to (see division list). The House resumed and the bill was reported with amendments. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 79) 10 Education and Skills Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 124. Amendments were agreed to. The House resumed after clause 56 was agreed to. The House adjourned at 7.09pm until 10.00am on Friday 18 July. Grand Committee Business The Grand Committee met in the Moses Room at 2.00pm.
