Examination of Witnesses (Questions 1940
- 1942)
WEDNESDAY 30 JANUARY 2008
Mr Alastair Campbell
Q1940 Chairman:
He had more influence.
Mr Campbell: The Prime Minister had a lot of
influence!
Q1941 Chairman:
I mean Mr Murdoch actually!
Mr Campbell: I think Europe is a very good case
in point.
Q1942 Baroness Howe of Idlicote:
You have just said more, but how many times more20 times
more?
Mr Campbell: Nothing like it, but I could not
tell you.
Chairman: Unfortunately, I have to bring this
to an end. Thank you very much because I know that it was some
inconvenience that you came, but we are very, very grateful. Perhaps
now that you have seen the colour of our eyes, if we have got
any more questions, we could actually put them to you by letter.
Thank you very much, Mr Campbell.
