Examination of Witnesses (Questions 6080
- 6082)
6080. LORD BROOKE OF ALVETHORPE: So Coal
Pensions Properties, Lancaster Investments and Greater London
Offices are all out, are they?
6081. MS LIEVEN: Lancaster Investments
and Greater London Offices have gone. Coal Pensions, my Lord,
are the ones who may turn up and it is an argument about compensation
for car parking. Just to give your Lordships a little bit of the
background, it is a property at Tottenham Court Road, which we
are not purchasing but where there will be work to the access
route at the back which goes to their car park. So Mr Berryman
will give evidence, if they attend, on why we need the access
route when we need it, and Mr Smith can give evidence on compensation.
I am still optimistic we may settle with them.
6082. CHAIRMAN: We will see, Ms Lieven.
Thank you very much. Is there anything else? I think we can adjourn
until 10 o'clock tomorrow morning.
