Housing and Regeneration Bill — Government Amendment
17. We reported on this bill in our 8th Report (HL Paper 102). The Government have tabled amendments to be moved in Committee and, at our request, have provided us with a supplementary memorandum on amendment 97PE in the marshalled list (HL Bill 47-VI) which contains a Henry VIII power subject to the negative procedure. The supplementary memorandum is printed at Appendix 5. In the light of the explanation in the memorandum, there is nothing in the amendment which we wish to draw to the attention of the House.
