Report is about
This Annual Report provides a summary of the work
of the House of Lords EU Select Committee and its seven Sub-Committees
from November 2007 to October 2008.
The report provides details of the routine scrutiny
carried out by the Committee and highlights some of the committee
inquiries conducted over the past year including a major inquiry
on the Lisbon Treaty. It also looks at the Committee's contacts
with the European Commission and with other parliaments and provides
some details on procedural developments over the past year including
in relation to scrutiny overrides.
