1 Building Societies (Funding) and Mutual Societies (Transfers) Bill The bill was read a third time and, after debate, passed. The bill was returned to the Commons with amendments.
2 Economic Sanctions (EAC Report) Lord Wakeham moved that this House takes note of the Report of the Economic Affairs Committee on The Impact of Economic Sanctions (2nd Report, HL Paper 96). After debate, the motion was agreed to.
3 European Union: Schengen Information System II (EUC Report) Lord Wright of Richmond moved that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on Schengen Information System II (SIS II) (9th Report, HL Paper 49). After debate, the motion was agreed to.

3 Appeal Committee The 84th Report from the Appeal Committee was agreed to and the following Order was made:
Chief Constable of the Hertfordshire Police (Original Petitioner and Cross-respondent) v Van Colle (administrator of the estate of GC (deceased)) and another (Original Respondents and Cross-petitioners) That leave to cross-appeal be given; and that the petition of cross-appeal be lodged by 26 October.
