7Counter-Terrorism Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 105J. Amendments were agreed to. Clauses 77 to 79 and 81 were disagreed to. The House resumed and the bill was reported with amendments. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 82)

8Health Service Branded Medicines (Control of Prices and Supply of Information) Regulations 2008 Earl Howe moved that a Humble Address be presented to Her Majesty praying that the Regulations, laid before the House on 21 July, be annulled (SI 2008/1938). After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

The House adjourned at 7.34pm until Wednesday 22 October at 9.45am for judicial business, 3.00pm for public business.

Judicial Business

1Mitchell (AP) and another (AP) (Original Respondents and Cross-appellants) v Glasgow City Council (Original Appellants and Cross-respondents) (Scotland) The appeal was set down for hearing and referred to an Appellate Committee.

2Savage (Respondent) v South Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (Appellants) The petition of the Secretary of State for Health praying for leave to intervene in the said appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.

3Appeal Committee The 112th Report from the Appeal Committee was agreed to and the following Order was made:

Savage (Respondent) v South Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (Appellants) That the petition of the Secretary of State for Health that he might be heard or otherwise intervene in the said appeal be allowed.
