5820. CHAIRMAN: Please do not think this
is any complaint at all, it is a matter of trying to understand
what you have done.
5821. MS JONES: Absolutely. The document
which I sent to the Promoter in 2006 is the one that you see with
what we call "the track changes". The one with my manuscript
notes are what I did a couple of hours ago to make it consistent
with the notes which I am going to talk about today and to deal
with matters which have popped up, if you like, during the last
two years which I have noticed in terms of the settlement issues,
so, yes, all the marks on there are mine.
5822. CHAIRMAN: Yes, in the text there
are lots more manuscript amendments, presumably on the same basis?
5823. MS JONES: That is right, that is
what I did an hour or so ago.
5824. CHAIRMAN: Then there are things
that are sidelined?
5825. MS JONES: And crossed out, correct.
5826. CHAIRMAN: Are they crossed out?
What is the point of sidelining them?
5827. MS JONES: All the manuscript amendments
are what I did about an hour or so ago, all of them.
5828. CHAIRMAN: Sorry, I am not making
myself clear. If I look at the second page of this, I see definitions
and there is "The Building" and "The Owner".
There is a sideline on the left-hand margin. What, if anything,
does that mean?
5829. MS JONES: If we look at the definition
of the authorised works at the end there, there is a little mark
which is a little circle and that is the amendment which goes
in there at the side.
5830. CHAIRMAN: That, I assume, is the
case. I am looking further down at "The Building" and
"The Owner". What is the sideline, the vertical line?
5831. MS JONES: The actual lines in the
text?
5832. CHAIRMAN: No. There is a line in
the margin.
5833. MS JONES: Yes, sorry. Thank you.
That is where it just notifies you when you are looking down that
there has been a track change. It is the way that it comes out
on the system to alert you to the fact there has been a change
in the text.
5834. CHAIRMAN: The bits that are underlined
are the changes?
5835. MS JONES: The track changes, that
is correct.
5836. CHAIRMAN: Those have been put in
by you?
5837. MS JONES: That is right.
5838. CHAIRMAN: When?
5839. MS JONES: In 2006 when I sent it
to the Promoter.
